The California lawyer normal has issued one other set of proposed amendments to the CCPA’s already in impact

On December 10, 2020, the California Attorney General (“AG”) published a fourth set of proposed amendments to the provisions implementing the California Consumer Protection Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). This set of changes builds on the third draft set, which was released on October 12, 2020 and has not yet been finalized. In particular, the changes would revise parts of the provisions on the publication of the right of withdrawal.

According to the AG’s website, the fourth set of amended draft ordinances is subject to a further public comment period. The deadline for submitting written comments is 5:00 p.m. PST on December 28, 2020.
