OSRS Agility Guide For RuneScape Beginners

Oct 19

The agility course is one of the slowest and monotonous skills to train in Old School Runescape. As you level up, your run energy will be permanently increased with this skill which provides some very important uses! There are other ways to train but most will take place on different types of courses like rooftops where players can gather marks for buying Graceful sets or selling them for some extra Old School RuneScape gold.

Levels 1-10 – Gnome Agility

The first 32 levels of agility training may be skipped by questing in OSRS. Completing the following quests in order will net you enough experience to jump directly from level 1 - 16: Recruitment Drive, The Tourist Trap (use your reward books on Agility), and then again back down as needed with more incentive for those who have already completed these early stages.

Skipping these quests is a big mistake! If you don't have the required level or account type, head to Tree Gnome Stronghold southwest of Ardougne and complete this course until you reach level 10.

Levels 10-20 – Draynor Rooftop

From this point on, you'll be using Rooftop courses for the majority of your training. The first location is Draynor rooftop course and depending on how high your Hitpoints level are can cause some damage so it's best if take food with us before starting off there as well buy a Regen Brace which works well in most cases when we do these types rathons like climbing up ledges or running across roofs; they're really useful later down our road!

Levels 20-30 Al Kharid Rooftop

The next tier of Rooftop courses is located in Al Kharid. The experience rates are about the same as Draynor without Energy Potions, but you’ll receive a very slight boost if using them and around 350 more per hour for those that do decide on this path instead.

Starting at agility level 20, it will require you about 50 laps to reach level 30 Agility. Each complete lap rewards you with 180 experience for this OSRS skill.

Levels 30-40 Varrock Rooftop

Varrock is the next stop in our Agility training. We’ll be using this course from levels 30 to 40, or 32 with recommended quests mentioned at beginning of this guide if you choose that route instead!

As always make sure not only do I bring some food items but also get plenty of marks for grace collection along the way too because it can get pretty long.

Levels 40-60 (or 47/52) – Canifis Rooftop

Next up on our Rooftop journey is the Canifis course. You have a few different options here depending on how you want to train your Agility, but if it's full Graceful that interests you most then I'd recommend sticking with these levels for now since they offer some of the fastest Marks of grace possible.
