Trigger Capper Systems

Jun 24

Trigger Capper Systems are designed to complete an application process for spray and pump bottle liquid products. This type of capping equipment can be found in a variety of markets such as aerosol, beauty, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. There are many models of trigger cappers available from various manufacturers that offer different designs and capabilities. Some include a capping head that can run all styles of spray and pump caps. Others may only run a specific style of cap while offering a choice between a chuck or spindle capping head.

Servo chuck capper machines have a mechanical cam system that makes it easy to change over from one format to another. The capping heads are labeled and positioned so they can be easily removed and replaced with the correct set. Each capping head is controlled by a servo motor and a PLC for precise application torque control. The chucks are also designed for quick and easy cap changeover with no need to adjust any other parts or tools on the machine.

The PMC "CR" Series is a highly accurate, compact trigger capper that can run up to 80 bottles per minute. This system can apply trigger pumps, spray caps or screw-on caps with a dip tube. The patented guide system mechanically controls the curvature of each dip tube to positively guide it into the container. A high output rotary action produces years of trouble-free service. The CR series also includes an optional sorter that handles, sorts, orients and applies the appropriate pump to each bottle. The pump is then fed to the capper where the servo-controlled chucks will apply and tighten the caps.

These rotary capping machines can apply trigger sprayers, caps with dip tubes and regular caps. They are available as standalone units or can be integrated into a complete rotary monoblock with rinsers, fillers and capper. These systems are able to meet the demands of any production line.

A rotary capper is capable of applying a wide variety of closures including lug, flip-top screw caps and mushroom style caps. They can be used on glass or plastic containers and are ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical applications. These systems can have one or more heads and use starwheel indexing and cap delivery systems to finish the capping process quickly and accurately. These types of capping systems require little operator involvement other than to change the bulk caps and monitor the line - everything else is automated. They can be configured with a variety of cap feeders and elevators depending on the application requirements. They can also be equipped with rejection systems to prevent crooked or missing caps. These capping machines are available in both automatic and semi-automatic models...
